I had such a terrific time visiting over at Write With Fey last week - and thanks to everyone who made it so extraordinary - that this week I'll be doing some hosting as well! Today my special guest is fellow-blogger and multi-published children's author Stephanie Faris and we've already put out the welcome sign!
Don't you just love neighborhood bakeries?
And now for the Piper Morgan Blog Tour!
The Blurbs:
In Piper Morgan Joins the Circus, Piper learns her mom’s new job will be with the Big Top Circus. She can’t wait to learn all about life under the big top, see all the cool animals, and meet the Little Explorers, the other kids who travel with the show. She’s even more excited to learn that she gets to be a part of the Little Explorers and help them end each show with a routine to get the audience on their feet and dancing along!
In Piper Morgan in Charge, Piper’s mom takes a job in the local elementary school principal’s office. Piper is excited for a new school and new friends—and is thrilled when she is made an “office helper.” But there is one girl who seems determined to prove she is a better helper—and she just so happens to be the principal’s daughter. Can Piper figure out how to handle being the new girl in town once more?
Aren’t
these covers adorable?
The Author:
Stephanie Faris knew she wanted to be an author from a very young
age. In fact, her mother often told her to stop reading so much and go outside
and play with the other kids. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State
University with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism, she somehow
found herself working in information technology. But she never stopped writing.
Stephanie is the Simon & Schuster author of 30 Days of
No Gossip and 25 Roses. When she isn’t crafting fiction,
she writes for a variety of online websites on the topics of business,
technology, and her favorite subject of all—fashion. She lives in Nashville
with her husband, a sales executive.

Remember your first office job? Your first visit to the
circus? Did you have to change schools very often?
Thanks
for coming, Stephanie!
Cupcakes! Perfect for Stephanie.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE cupcakes!
DeleteAlex, I heard a rumor she liked them. Guess it was true ;-)
DeleteLove the covers of Stephanie's books. You can't help but smile when you look at them.
ReplyDeleteThoughts in Progress
and MC Book Tours
I've been very lucky with my covers. I have loved every one of them. I've known authors who hated one or more of their covers and that has to suck!
DeleteThank you so much for hosting me! And you're the only one who baked treats. YAY!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to have you visit, Stephanie!
DeleteI thought that cupcakes would go right nice with your enchanting Piper Morgan books and blog tour ;-)
Those are great covers. Very much the bright and fun books that would have drawn my eye as a kid (or a childish adult).
ReplyDeleteI went to the circus when I was four. Literally the only thing I remember is eating candy with my aunt!
I went when I was around 11 or 12. I don't remember any of it, really. Now they're held in huge arenas instead of under tents. Seems like there would be a little more charm to the tent, but I get why it makes more sense to ship all of that into an arena than to set up a big tent with portable toilets and all!
DeleteA cupcake stealing pooch! haha
ReplyDeleteI couldn't tell what was going on until I enlarged the photo. Cute!!
Ha! I didn't see the dog there, either. He's so dark!
DeleteI love those cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteI know--now I'm craving one!
DeleteLove the Piper Morgan books! The covers are adorable! Can someone please email one of those cupcakes to me?
ReplyDeleteHa! I wish I could, Valerie ;-)
DeleteI enjoy seeing Piper Morgan on the blogs when a new book comes out. Congrats, Stephanie!
